Uyghur Democracy Leader Rebiya Kadeer met with His Holiness the Dalai Lama along with the participants of the 7th Interethnic Interfaith Leadership Conference in Long Beach California on Saturday April 21. The conference was organized by the Initiatives for China led by prominent Chinese democrat Dr. Yang Jianli. Uyghur, Tibetan, Mongol, Taiwanese, Chinese dissidents as well as scholars from Mainland China attended the three-day conference.
