World Uyghur Congress, 4 September 2017
The World Uyghur Congress has released its newsletter covering the month of September concerning our activities as well as the most prevalent issues concerning the Uyghur community in East Turkestan and elsewhere.
The newsletter looks at a number of developing stories coming out of the region and the diaspora including the ban on the use of the Uyghur Language in the Hotan prefecture, remembering Uyghur victims of enforced disappearance, the unjust sentencing of Hong Kong’s democracy leaders, the targeting of the Kazakh ethnic group in East Turkestan by the Chinese authorites, and more.
Also included in the newsletter are our recent and upcoming advocacy activities in Europe and elsewhere. Read the Newsletter Here.
