As Muslims all over the world celebrate the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan, the WUC urges them not to forget about the #Uyghur people in East Turkistan, who are not able to engage in even the most basic aspects of religious practice and are at risk of arbitrary detention, torture and other serious human rights violations for their religious beliefs.
