Mr. Turgunjan Alawudun was born in Shayar County East Turkistan.  From 1983 to 1988 he studied religious studies in Shayar and Kashgar. From 1989 to 1999, he studied at Al-Azhar Isam University in Egypt.  He came to Germany in 1999 and settled there.

Mr Turgunjan Alawudun in 1994 – 1999 – President  of “East Turkistan Students Unity” in  Egypt, 1999 – 2004 – Director of the East Turkestan (Uyghurstan) National Congress of the Religious affairs Committee,  the European Eastern Turkistan unit Religious affairs committee and  the World Uygur Youth Congress religious affairs committee.since 2004 he has served as the Director of the Religious affairs Committee at the World Uyghur Congress.  From 2017 to 2020 he has been the President of the European Union of East Turkestan, and since January 2016 he has been the Vice President of the Union of Scholars of East Turkestan.  At the 5th and 6th Election , he was again elected as the Director of the Committee on Religious Affairs and the Special Representative of the WUC to the Islamic countries.
